The game is played with a 52-card deck with one Joker. The Joker can be used as an Ace, any face card (Jack, Queen, or King), and any card to complete a straight or a straight flush. Other cards count according to their face value. Players set their cards as follows: two cards for the Low Hand and five for the High hand. They also set their cards ahead of the Banker and are advised not to exchange any information with each other.
RANKING OF CARDS FROM HIGHEST TO LOWEST:
A. Royal flush - A, K, Q, J and 10 of the same suit
B. Straight flush - 5 succeeding cards of the same suit
C. Four of a kind - 4 cards with the same rank plus one unmatched card
D. Full house - a pair and three cards with the same rank
E. Flush - 5 cards of the same suit
F. Straight – 5 consecutive numbers, mixed suits, lowest straight is Ace to five
G. Three of a kind
H. Two pairs
I. One pair
J. No pair
